Karisa and I were returning from Wyoming the summer of ‘08 and planned to stay the night in New Mexico. Right before we got to New Mexico, we saw signs on the road that said Las Vegas 150 miles. I’m guessing on the miles but it wasn’t too far. We both looked at each other and contemplated just making it an all-nighter and going to Las Vegas just to see it. We eventually decided against it because her dad had bought us a room and we’d feel bad to waste his money. Before we got to the hotel we stopped at a Mexican restaurant to eat. We were talking to the waiter about contemplating driving to Las Vegas and he goes "good thing you didn’t because that’s Las Vegas, NM and there’s nothing but a Walmart there." We were both so glad we didn’t do that because major anger would have consumed us both and that’s always bad. I thought of that because I looked down at my phone’s GPS button. If either of us had Iphones then, that possible mishap wouldn’t have happened. Good thing it didn’t anyway.
